"Im such a sucker for a textured body and a chunky heel"

So a couple of weeks ago I did a post on some Top Shop fall fab, and today I purchased a few things on the list of things I absolutely loved...

I was in desprate need of a fashionable winter coat and I just couldnt get these yummy booties off my mind!!!

Now I just need them to hurry up and get here so I can see what they look like on. The downside to online shopping is def the sizing factor for me! I just pray they fit!

Both pieces can be found at http://topshop.com

#FNO

As some of you know Fashion's Night Out was a couple of weeks ago on the 9th. I went with a few friends including Jean Marc and Carl from Fashion Through Your Eyes, and our friend Junior.

While we were on our #FNO excursion we were networking and catching as mank fab folks on camera as possible. We stayed in Soho for most of the night, and as you will see as you keep scrolling, the creative energies in Soho were shattering her brick streets that night.

Bellow I have pics of some of the fab guys and gals we stopped and drooled over that night...

First stop. Marc.jacobs.

Danni Phae's drippin. this chick is dope.

Susy from African Creature and her lovely crew making Chanel look good.

The energy that these guys had was AH-ma-Zing! love it!

Renae Bluitt of In Her Shoes Blog  and Michi Chassagne.
Their hair was EVERYTHING!

Some dapper dons including Hanif and Brett form Avid Courtesy League.
It was really great seeing bloggers out and about enhancing the energy of the night.
Men's fashion is something I truely appreciate and it was great to see some of the male fashion bloggers on the scene. Chatting and networking with these guys and others was so inspiring. To see people tryingt to do the same things Im doing just drives my passion deeper and pushes me to do more.

TOP SHOP Fall Favs

hEY DOLLS, let me start off by apologizing for not posting for about 6 years, I had soo much going on with school starting, death in my family, and on top of all of that Im laptopless for the moment. But not to worry, I plan on purchasing a new laptop ASAP.

I would say that "fall is around the corner" but with the frigged winds and frosty rains I have felt outside mixed with my anemic self, ITS HERE, fall is here in living color and I am hardly prepared :((. But this week I have been stalking my fav online stores for their latest fall fashions. One of the spots that I saw a bagillion yummy finds was TOP SHOP.

Here are a few of the fabulous pieces I found...

Rockin.Robin
the 50's style dresses and color blocking go perfect can take you through your coldest winter with paired with your fav opaque tights and, overtheknee-highs.

chiffon.me.crazy.
rock these flimsy blouses in our out.

layer.it.on.me.
Whether its your robe looking kimonos or Heathcliff's fav cardi, the mad layered look is one of my favs this season. The long sleeve under short sleeve trend is an absolute must!

Top.Coat.
Faux furs, Boyfriend Wools, Fur Collared leathers, and Cocoons are EVERYSINGLETHING this season.
Even though these coats are fancy and lengthy they are perfect if rocked with your everyday looks. Fur is no longer strictly formal.

Suadey.brooks.
suede, oversided collars, fringes, padded shoulders, warm hues.
the.end.

print.shop.
Printed bottoms mixed-mached with the perfect printed top is a fun trend to play with.
And of course palazzo pants are my fav. and they are just even more terrific with some funky prints!

death.of.highwaistedshortpensilskirt.
I dont know how much more I can take of this mad trend that AA started but it has every woman from Egypt to Antarctica running ramped and driving it into the ground.
So since they are dead to me lets look forward ladies, well in fashion looking forward is always looking backwards but you get the point.
So instead of raiding the 80s for their skirted sensations lets get groovy with the fierce kittys of the 50's (with the below the knee pencil skirt) and the 70s (with the leather, flared mini).
Rock these with your shirt in or out!

SHOEGASM.#ownit
I dont know how to act right not. I am getting all of these. like. I. died.

color.block.
Yes even in the winter time these open toed, colorblocked, suede masterpieces are so clutch. just throw your fav tight or sock on.
These natural tone color blocked riding boots go essentially with anything. and everything.

Have fun with your fall fashion hunting beauties!
I cant wait to see the ways you guys OWN the seasons fabulous trends!

.LOVE.

maximum capacity

The maxi dress has been a ever evolving trend for about the past 5 years. But the biggest mistake to make when when maxing it out is thinking that a maxi dress is a maxi dress. There have been slight but fashionably significant changes in the trends for maxi dresses. Opposed to last season's floral, Hawaiian, and paisley print trend, this season is all about the boho, racerback, oversized and flowy fit maxi dress. These trends are definitely something to keep in mind when shopping for your maxi's!

hate it or love it???

This, my loves, is the Jeffery Campbell "Tardy" boot. Now I love me some JC, but ummm, I'm not too sure abt this jammie. When I first saw it I hated it, but then after taking a second look at it I wondered if I wasn't being open enough to the endless possibilities of fashion

So I'm asking you guys what u think. Do you see potential in it or would you just rather not to see it at all?

Love.
